Thank you for your interest in becoming a foster caregiver for CFFR!

You will be fostering kittens/cats with the goal that they be adopted into loving permanent homes. Upon receipt of your application, you will be contacted by the Foster Coordinator to go over the next steps in becoming a foster parent. You will also be emailed a copy of your completed application for your records upon submission.

If my application is approved and I become a Foster for CFFR...*

I agree to the following requirements.

Keep foster kittens/cats indoors at all times.

Administer medication to kittens/cats if required.

Keep my foster(s) separate from my personal pets for at least 2 weeks OR if I have a mom with kittens, for the duration of the foster period.

Keep in touch via text or email every 2-3 days with the Foster Coordinator on the status of my foster kittens/cats. Include weights of my foster kittens if instructed.

Transport my fosters to Morrison for any medical care and/or the spay/neuter clinic for surgery.

Feed ONLY the foods recommended in the Foster Handbook that are appropriate for my foster/s, unless otherwise directed by the Foster Coordinator.

Use ONLY the litter/litter boxes recommended in the Foster Handbook that are appropriate for my foster/s, unless otherwise directed by the Foster Coordinator.

Read and REPLY to all email communications in a timely manner (within 24 hours) sent by CFFR as they contain important information.

By signing here, I agree to the following: The state of Colorado requires us to conduct a home visit prior to approval for the program. I give permission to CFFR to verify any information given in this application. I also understand if I do not abide by the specific foster policies and follow the direction of the Foster Coordinator, I risk termination of my foster duties. In consideration for being accepted as a foster, I hereby agree for myself, my executors, heirs, next of kin, successors and assigns, to waive, release and forever discharge CFFR, its officers and employees, from all claims or demands of any nature whatsoever, including personal injury, sickness, death, property damage and expenses (including attorney’s fees) which arise out of or relate to my participation in fostering with CFFR. I agree that I will attend any required online meetings as requested by CFFR. By signing, you represent that you are 18 years of age and of sound mind. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must sign this form as well.
